Placed on the eastern side of Kurisumala Hill in Vagamon, Murugan Mala is a small hill, which is around 8 km from the hill town. The hill is adorned with the temple of Lord Murugan, erected using a single rock. An example of rock-cut temple architecture of India.
Sprawling among 250 acres of farmland, Vagamon Heights is developed out of an abandoned plantation. Though the old plantation is retained the open space is turned in to a tourist destination, it is not at the expense of its native charm.
