Considered more as a pilgrim centre, thangalpara is a large boulder of rock which is also the resting place of Sufi saint Hasrath Sheikh Fariduddin Baba . It is considered as one of the most sacred places for Muslim pilgrims. A small prayer centre has been constructed for the pilgrims.
Sprawling among 250 acres of farmland, Vagamon Heights is developed out of an abandoned plantation. Though the old plantation is retained the open space is turned in to a tourist destination, it is not at the expense of its native charm.
